HYDERABAD — Vikings PC captured the CCPL Club League championship with a commanding 4-0 sweep over Penguin PC in the State of the League Final at the Crosscourts Sports Club in Gandipet. The final match, concluded on May 30, 2026, marked the end of a highly competitive 10-week tournament.

The tournament began as side-court battles across 19 different city venues before concluding at the Gandipet facility. Over the course of 10 weeks, the home-and-away circuit built fierce local rivalries, drawing an on-ground audience of more than 8,000 spectators.

The league provided more than 220 playing opportunities for over 350 registered athletes, which included 92 women.

To reach the ultimate State of the League Final, both teams had to secure their respective conference titles. In the Conference A final, Penguin PC defeated DRC Sports Foundation with a 4-2 victory. Meanwhile, Vikings PC emerged victorious in the Conference B final to book their spot in the championship match.

Riding that momentum into the final, Vikings PC delivered a dominant performance, sweeping Penguin PC 4-0 to claim the league title.

"We’re extremely happy to win the title and this is only the beginning for Vikings and a whole bunch of talented athletes," a Vikings PC representative stated after the victory. "A huge thank you to the Centre Court team for organising such an amazing tournament. What they’re doing for the pickleball community is truly amazing. Finally, a huge shoutout to our players and supporters who were there for us from day one."

Yashwanth Biyyala, Co-founder of Centre Court Sports & Entertainment, praised the intensity of the competition. He noted how competitive the league became right at the end, stating that every team in the top four had moments when they looked capable of going all the way, making the finals highly interesting.
