One Killed, Two Critically Injured as Car Overturns Near Pamen Gate in Chevella

A man was killed and two others suffered critical injuries after a speeding car overturned near Pamen Gate in Chevella mandal of Vikarabad district. A fourth occupant travelling in the vehicle escaped the crash with minor injuries.
According to police, the car was proceeding towards Pamen Gate when the driver lost control near a bridge. The vehicle overturned and landed on the opposite side of the road due to the impact.
Motorists and local residents who witnessed the crash alerted emergency services and called an ambulance. They assisted in shifting the injured victims to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.
The four occupants in the vehicle were identified as Raj Kumar Goud, Murali Goud, Oggu Venkatayya, and Karla Shivakumar, all residents of Potgal village located in Shabad mandal. Raj Kumar Goud died on the spot as a result of severe injuries sustained in the rollover.
Two of the surviving occupants sustained critical injuries during the accident. After receiving initial medical care, both critically injured persons were shifted to Continental Hospital in Hyderabad for advanced treatment.
While police suspect that overspeeding caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, local residents pointed out potential road defects at the site. Locals suspect the crash may have been caused by the road caving in on a small bridge constructed to facilitate the flow of rainwater. Residents noted that a similar accident had previously occurred at the exact same location, which had also claimed the life of another person from Potgal village.
