Medchal police book college student for blackmailing and exploiting Kandlakoya classmate

The Medchal police have registered a criminal case against a college student for allegedly sexually exploiting, blackmailing, and extorting money from a female classmate under the false promise of marriage.

The case, which was reported on May 30, 2026, involves a victim who is a pharmacy student at a college located in Kandlakoya, Hyderabad.

According to police reports, the suspect and the victim were classmates at the Kandlakoya institution, where they initially developed a friendship. The suspect allegedly used this relationship to gain the young woman's trust by convincing her of his love and promising to marry her.

The victim stated in her complaint that the suspect convinced her of his genuine intentions to marry her and subsequently took her to Oxygen Park, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Following this initial assault, the suspect allegedly subjected the pharmacy student to repeated sexual exploitation. In addition to the physical exploitation, the victim alleged that the classmate secretly recorded nude visuals of her during their video calls.

The suspect then allegedly used the recorded intimate photos and videos as leverage to blackmail the victim. He demanded money from her and threatened to distribute the explicit visuals to her family members if she refused to pay him.

The blackmail escalated recently when the suspect sent the intimate media files directly to the victim’s brother.

Following the transmission of the files to her family, the victim approached the local authorities to file a formal complaint detailing the sexual assault, extortion, and blackmail. Based on her statement, the Medchal police booked the accused classmate and registered a case. Law enforcement officials confirmed that they are currently investigating the matter.
