Car Rams Into Stationary TGSRTC Bus at Ramanthapur in Hyderabad

A speeding car crashed into the rear of a stationary TGSRTC bus at Ramanthapur in Hyderabad on Monday morning, June 1, 2026. The collision occurred while the public transit bus was stopped to pick up passengers.
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus was operating on its route from Uppal to Mehdipatnam. It had halted at the Polytechnic College bus stop in the Ramanthapur area to allow commuters to board when the vehicle was struck from behind.
A speeding car coming from the same direction crashed directly into the back of the parked bus. The impact of the collision was extremely strong, resulting in extensive damage to the front of the car. The front portion of the car was completely crushed, and its engine compartment became lodged beneath the rear of the TGSRTC bus.
Although the vehicle was severely damaged, the driver of the car is believed to have escaped the accident without any injuries.
