Two Men Murdered with Daggers in Mailardevpally Within 12 Hours

A man was murdered within the Mailardevpally police limits on Thursday, marking the second fatal attack reported in the area in a span of just 12 hours.

The second victim was identified as Abdul Raof, an autorickshaw driver. He was murdered by unidentified assailants in Alinagar on Wednesday night.

His killing occurred within 12 hours of the murder of rowdy-sheeter Khaja Sohil, who was attacked and killed near a local cafe.

According to the police, the assailants in both separate incidents used daggers to repeatedly stab the victims.

Investigators are looking into personal rivalries as the motive behind both killings. Special teams have been deployed to track down the assailants.

"We suspect previous enmity to be the reasons behind the murders, we have formed special teams to investigate," Deputy Commissioner of Police S. Sreenivas said.
