Three Bodies Recovered After Four Youths Drown in SRSP in Nizamabad

Three bodies have been recovered after four youths drowned in the Sri Ram Sagar Project (SRSP) in Telangana's Nizamabad district, police confirmed on Tuesday. Search and rescue operations remain underway to locate the fourth missing person.

According to the Nizamabad police, the four youngsters had entered the SRSP project area when they drowned. Upon receiving information about the incident, police personnel and rescue teams rushed to the spot and immediately launched a rescue operation.

Police stated that three of the deceased were natives of Arshapalli, while the fourth youth involved in the incident is from Hyderabad. Emergency teams succeeded in retrieving three bodies from the water, while efforts are actively continuing to locate the missing fourth youth.

The three recovered bodies have been shifted for post-mortem examination. Nizamabad police added that further investigation into the circumstances of the drowning incident is currently underway.
