Form-18 Voter Registration Portal Hits Glitches Ahead of November 6 Deadline

Form-18 Voter Registration Portal Hits Glitches Ahead of November 6 Deadline

Graduates across Hyderabad and surrounding districts have encountered technical glitches on the Form-18 voter registration portal ahead of the November 6 deadline, impeding their ability to submit online enrolment forms.

Applicants attempting to open the Form-18 registration link have faced an "HTTP 500 – Service Unavailable" error message. The disruption affects eligible voters who are trying to register before the approaching cut-off date.

The voter enrolment drive covers two major jurisdictions: the Mahabubnagar–Rangareddy–Hyderabad Graduates’ Constituency and the Warangal–Khammam–Nalgonda Graduates’ Constituency.

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Telangana, previously urged all eligible graduates within these constituencies to submit their Form-18 registrations before November 6. The initiative was launched to ensure that all qualified individuals are enrolled in the electoral rolls.

Under the guidelines for the newly prepared electoral rolls, all eligible graduates are required to submit a fresh Form-18 application, regardless of whether they were registered during previous terms.

In addition to the online registration system that is currently experiencing errors, the authorities have made provisions for graduates to submit their Form-18 applications through offline modes to complete their enrolment.
