Three Arrested for Murder of 17-Year-Old Youth at Biryanishah Tekri

The Kalapathar police have arrested three persons near Chandrayangutta in Hyderabad for their alleged involvement in the murder of a 17-year-old youth at Biryanishah Tekri. The arrests follow a police investigation into the fatal attack that was reported in the locality last week.

The victim of the attack was identified by police as Faiz Mohammed, also known as Azaan, a 17-year-old resident of Biryanishah Tekri. The Kalapathar police identified the three arrested suspects as Mohammed Abrar, Mohammed Ismail alias Farhaan, and Mohammed Ashfaq.

According to the police account, the violent incident occurred in the early hours of July 19 at around 2:30 a.m. The three suspects had reportedly gone to the Biryanishah Tekri neighborhood while searching for another individual. When Faiz questioned them about why they were present in the locality at that hour, the situation escalated into a violent assault.

"When Faiz questioned their presence, two of the suspects allegedly attacked him with sharp-edged knives, while the third assaulted him with fist blows. He sustained multiple grievous injuries and died on the spot. The suspects fled on an Activa scooter," stated Falaknuma Assistant Commissioner of Police M. A. Jaweed.

Following the killing, law enforcement officers initiated an investigation to locate the culprits. During the course of the probe, the police team examined several eyewitnesses, collected forensic evidence from the scene, analyzed technical clues, and systematically pursued multiple leads to track down those responsible for the youth's death.

Acting on specific information obtained through these investigative efforts, the police team located and apprehended the three suspects near Chandrayangutta on Monday. Upon making the arrests, police seized key material evidence, including two blood-stained knives believed to be the weapons used in the murder, blood-stained clothes, three mobile phones, and the Activa scooter allegedly used by the suspects during the offence.
