TGSPDCL Transfers 53 Assistant Engineers Across Hyderabad Limits

In a major administrative overhaul, the Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) has transferred 53 Assistant Engineers (AEs) to various locations within its operating limits in Hyderabad.

TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitesh V. Patil issued the transfer orders on administrative grounds. Officials stated that the large-scale reshuffle was undertaken to ensure better services to electricity consumers across the discom's jurisdiction.

According to the transfer order, the new postings and in-charge arrangements are purely ad-hoc and take effect from the date the officials assume charge.

The order also clarified that the transfers confer no right to promotion, regularization, or monetary benefits, and will remain subject to review in accordance with relevant official guidelines.

This marks the first time that TGSPDCL has executed such an extensive overhaul involving the simultaneous transfer of Assistant Engineers across its network.
