TGCHE Begins TS PGECET 2026 Phase 1 Web Options Entry For Postgraduate Courses

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has commenced the TS PGECET 2026 Phase 1 web options entry process for postgraduate admissions across Telangana. Eligible candidates who have completed their certificate verification can now select and submit their college and course preferences for M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., and Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) programmes.

According to the official counselling schedule released by the council, the web options entry window opened on July 19, 2026, and will remain active until July 21, 2026. Candidates who need to modify their choices will have an opportunity to access the editing facility on July 22, 2026.

The Phase 1 seat allotment results are scheduled to be officially announced on July 26, 2026. Following the allotment, candidates who secure a seat must report to their allotted colleges for original certificate verification and final admission from July 27 to July 30, 2026.

The TGCHE has issued specific guidelines for candidates participating in the online counselling process. Candidates must log in using their prescribed credentials to exercise their web options. Before submitting their preferences, candidates are required to verify their registered details, including category, local area, income, qualification, and specialization.

Candidates have been advised to exercise their options carefully, save their choices within the prescribed deadline, and keep a printout of the final saved selections. The council stated that seat allotments will be processed based on the eligibility of the candidates and the specific options they submit.

To secure their admission, candidates who are allotted seats must report to their respective colleges with their original certificates and the fee payment receipt within the designated dates. The TGCHE warned that failure to report to the allotted college within the notified schedule will result in the automatic cancellation of the admission.
