Sridhar Babu Sets Sept 30 Deadline for Bahadurpally Road-Widening Project

IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu inspected the Bahadurpally-Kompally road-widening project at Dulapally on Monday, directing officials to complete the road expansion works by September 30.

While reviewing the project's progress on site, the minister instructed authorities to expedite all pending works and remove existing bottlenecks along the route to ensure timely execution.

Sridhar Babu set specific timelines for key stages of the project. He directed the concerned authorities to complete the shifting of electrical poles along the forest stretch by August 15. He also instructed officials to fast-track land acquisition process in Dulapally and Bahadurpally to allow construction work to proceed without further delays.

To manage rainwater and prevent waterlogging along the expanded corridor, the minister directed the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to submit proposals for stormwater drains. The proposals will be submitted to the CMC for examination and necessary action to establish adequate drainage systems along the road.
