Special trains to run between Kacheguda and Tiruchanur to clear passenger rush

The South Central Railway has officially announced the operation of special trains running between Kacheguda in Hyderabad and Tiruchanur to clear the anticipated rush of passengers. The temporary train services are scheduled to run on July 23 and July 24, 2026, offering much-needed relief to commuters traveling along this busy route.

According to the schedule released by the South Central Railway, Train No. 07787 Kacheguda – Tiruchanur will begin its journey on July 23, 2026. The return service, designated as Train No. 07788 Tiruchanur – Kacheguda, is scheduled to operate on July 24, 2026. These special trains have been introduced to manage the high volume of travelers and ensure smoother transit.

To provide maximum accessibility for passengers, the special trains will make stops at several key stations in both directions. Within the Hyderabad region, the trains will stop at Malkajgiri and Charlapalli, making it convenient for local residents in these neighbourhoods to board the services.

As the trains move further along the route, they will halt at several other major railway stations in both directions. The designated stops include Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Guntur, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, and Renigunta, ensuring that travelers from various districts can utilize these services.

In terms of accommodation, the South Central Railway has confirmed that these special trains will feature a variety of coach classes to cater to different passenger requirements. The train composition will include AC II Tier and AC III Tier coaches for those seeking air-conditioned travel, alongside standard Sleeper class and General second class coaches for budget-conscious passengers.

The addition of these services is expected to significantly ease the pressure on regular trains operating on the Kacheguda to Tiruchanur line, providing a reliable travel alternative for the public on the specified dates in July.
