Secunderabad Student Drowns in Kondapochamma Sagar Reservoir

An 18-year-old college student residing in Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad, drowned at Kondapochamma Sagar in Siddipet on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Mohana Prasad, a Nepali national. Prasad was pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree at a local college.

According to available information, Prasad had visited the reservoir along with a group of his friends. The outing turned tragic when they ventured deep into the waters of the reservoir, where Prasad subsequently drowned.

Following the incident, local police were alerted to the scene. The police have registered a case regarding the drowning.
