Rowdy sheeter Nandanavanam Suri hacked to death near TKR College in Meerpet

A rowdy sheeter, Nandanavanam Suri, was hacked to death on the road near TKR College in Meerpet, Hyderabad, during the midnight hours of Monday. The Meerpet police suspect that the murder was a planned act of revenge linked to a previous homicide case involving the victim's family.
According to the police, the prime suspect, identified as Afroz, allegedly lured Suri to the location under the pretext of attending a friend’s birthday celebration. Afroz is the brother of Suri's deceased brother-in-law, Salman.
Once Suri arrived at the spot near TKR College, Afroz allegedly sprayed pepper spray directly into Suri's eyes. The police stated that this left Suri completely unable to defend himself against the assault. Afroz then repeatedly attacked Suri with sharp weapons, including knives.
Suri suffered grievous injuries during the attack and collapsed on the road in a pool of blood. Local residents who witnessed the aftermath rushed him to a nearby private hospital. However, doctors at the medical facility declared him brought dead upon arrival.
Investigating officials stated that the murder appears to be the direct fallout of a long-standing personal feud between the families. Suri had previously been named as an accused in the murder of both his wife and his brother-in-law, Salman. Police believe that Afroz had been waiting for an opportunity to avenge his brother Salman's death and planned this attack in advance.
Suri was a known rowdy sheeter with several criminal cases registered against him. Due to his extensive criminal background, the police had also imposed a city externment order against him a few months ago.
The Meerpet police have launched a search to track down Afroz and other suspects who are believed to have participated in the crime. Forensic evidence has been collected from the crime scene, and officials stated that the investigation is continuing from all possible angles.
