Revanth Reddy Condemns Police Action Against NEET Protestors in New Delhi

HYDERABAD — Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Monday condemned the alleged police action, including a lathi-charge and the use of tear-gas, against students protesting in New Delhi over the NEET paper leak issue.

Reacting to visuals of the protesting students being subjected to force during a march towards Parliament, the Chief Minister stated that youth from across India who had gathered to demand justice were being met with state violence.

Chief Minister Reddy accused the Central government of attempting to silence students whose futures have been put at risk due to examination irregularities.

"The government is using police force to suppress the voices of students," Reddy said, adding that such actions reflect a fear of accountability and democratic dissent.

Expressing solidarity with the demonstration, the Chief Minister said he stands firmly with the protesting students. He called for an immediate end to the police brutality and demanded full accountability regarding the alleged NEET and other examination paper leak scandals.
