Retired Army Serviceman Serving as SPO Dies on Duty at Chikkadpally Police Station

A 60-year-old Special Police Officer (SPO) constable passed away after suffering an alleged heart attack while on duty at the Chikkadpally Police Station in Hyderabad on Monday.
The deceased officer was identified as Nagarjuna Reddy, a resident of Malkajgiri. Subsequent to his retirement from the Indian Army, Reddy had joined the police department as an SPO after completing his military service.
According to the police, Reddy suddenly complained of physical discomfort while discharging his duties at the station. Fellow police personnel immediately responded and shifted him to a nearby private hospital at RTC Cross Roads for emergency treatment.
Despite medical efforts at the hospital, Reddy passed away while undergoing treatment.
