Over 1,000 Cyberabad traffic police screened at Yashoda Hospitals camp in Hitec City

Yashoda Hospitals in Hitec City conducted a free Pulmonology and Vascular Health Screening Camp for more than 1,000 Cyberabad traffic police personnel. The healthcare programme was organised in collaboration with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), Cyberabad Police, and the Traffic Police.

More than 1,000 traffic officers attended the session to avail of free health check-ups and medical consultations. Organisers designed the initiative to focus on preventive healthcare, early diagnosis, and greater awareness regarding respiratory and vascular issues among personnel exposed to challenging weather and environmental conditions during their daily duties.

Participating traffic police personnel underwent specialized clinical screenings focused on pulmonology and vascular health. Hospital specialists conducted the evaluations, providing individual medical consultations and guidance directly to the personnel on duty.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner and Chairman Dr. M. Ramesh highlighted the necessity of monitoring officers' physical condition. "The health and well-being of traffic police personnel are important, given the demanding nature of their duties," he stated.

Dr. G. S. Rao, Managing Director of Yashoda Hospitals, emphasized the regular environmental risks faced by personnel on ground duty. "Traffic police personnel serve the public every day while working in challenging environmental conditions," Dr. Rao said. "It was important to support their health through regular screening and timely medical guidance."
