Moderate to Heavy Rain Forecast Across Telangana Till Tuesday, Jaggasagar Hits 76.8 mm

The Meteorological Department has forecast moderate to heavy rainfall across several districts of Telangana through Tuesday, following widespread precipitation on Sunday night. Jaggasagar in the Metpally mandal of Jagtial district recorded the highest rainfall in the state at 76.8 mm during the overnight downpours, while Hyderabad experienced continuous rainfall throughout the night.
Heavy rainfall was recorded in several other locations in Sangareddy district overnight. Sirgapur recorded 51.0 mm of rain, followed by Kandi with 42.5 mm and Kadpal with 41.3 mm. Alongside the ongoing rainfall on Monday and Tuesday, temperatures across the state are also expected to rise slightly, according to official weather reports.
According to the Meteorological Department forecast, moderate to heavy rainfall is likely from late afternoon through the night in northern and eastern districts. The affected regions include Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, and Khammam.
Widespread moderate rainfall is also expected across central and western Telangana during late afternoon and evening hours. Districts under this forecast include Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy, Siddipet, Jangaon, Karimnagar, Hanamkonda, Warangal, and Narayanpet. The remaining districts in the state may see light, scattered showers.
In Hyderabad, morning hours are expected to bring a few spells of drizzle, while moderate rain is likely at isolated places during the evening and night hours.
