Minister Vivek Venkataswamy Promotes AI Skill Training in Chegunta and Siddipet

On Saturday, Telangana Minister for Labour, Employment, Training, Factories, and Mines Dr G. Vivek Venkataswamy visited Chegunta and Siddipet in Medak district to participate in public programs, where he highlighted government initiatives to prepare youth for the artificial intelligence (AI) job market. During his address, the Minister urged citizens to dedicate a portion of their earnings to society, calling it a responsibility rather than charity.

Speaking at the events, Venkataswamy stated that his commitment to social service was deeply inspired by his father, Venkataswamy, who strongly believed in giving back to the community. He emphasized that government schools today offer far more than basic education, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to compete on a global stage.

To address the rapid advances in AI that are transforming the employment landscape, the Minister announced that the state government is establishing Advanced Technology Centres. These centres are designed to provide cutting-edge skill training to local youth. Furthermore, he noted that the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company (TOMCOM) is offering foreign language training to help students secure jobs in both domestic and international markets.

The Minister praised rural students who have secured admissions into premier institutions, including IITs, IIITs, medical, and engineering colleges. He attributed their success to determination, discipline, and quality teaching. He gave special appreciation to the teachers of Chegunta Government High School, pointing out that two students from the school recently secured admission to IIIT.

Venkataswamy assured the public that the state government is prioritizing the strengthening of infrastructure in government schools. This includes providing better classrooms, toilets, and other essential facilities. He also recognized the valuable contributions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and voluntary organizations in upgrading educational institutions.

Finally, the Minister stressed the importance of sports and cultural activities in the overall development of students. He urged them to excel academically, respect their parents, and grow into responsible citizens with strong values.
