Madhapur Police Arrest Hotel Worker for Two-Wheeler Thefts, Recover Three Bikes

The Madhapur police have arrested a 21-year-old hotel employee in Hyderabad in connection with a series of two-wheeler thefts, recovering three stolen motorcycles from his possession following his detention.

The suspect was apprehended after police personnel on routine patrol noticed him moving suspiciously on a motorcycle near Ayyappa Society in Madhapur. Officers intercepted him on the spot and took him in for questioning, during which he allegedly confessed to his involvement in multiple motorcycle thefts across the area.

According to the police, the 21-year-old suspect worked as a front-office boy at a local hotel. Investigators stated that he deliberately targeted two-wheelers parked outside residential houses, student hostels, and other parking areas.

Explaining his method of operation, police said the suspect would tamper with the targeted vehicles by removing the ignition plug and connecting the internal wires directly to start the engines without keys before riding them away.

Following his confession during interrogation, police teams acted on the information he provided and recovered three stolen two-wheelers that had been concealed near his residence.

The recovered vehicles were seized by the authorities, and the Madhapur police confirmed that further investigation into the case is currently underway.
