Lalith Narayan, Jai Rohan Forge Record 419-Run Stand in HCA C-Division League

Young Citizen CC opening batters Jai Rohan and G. Lalith Narayan established a record 419-run opening stand to guide their side to a massive victory over Noble in the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) C-Division one-day league championship in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Lalith anchored the extraordinary innings with an aggressive double century, smashing 219 runs off 164 deliveries. His knock was studded with 35 boundaries and two sixes. Rohan matched the scoring rate from the other end, compiling 155 runs from 133 balls with the help of 24 fours.

Together, the two openers dismantled the opposition bowling attack, batting together until the partnership reached 419 runs. Their monumental effort powered Young Citizen CC to a formidable total of 436 for one in their allotted 50 overs.

Faced with a daunting target of 437 runs, Noble's batting lineup failed to build sustained momentum. Noble were eventually bowled out for 116 runs in 34.2 overs, sealing a comprehensive 320-run victory for Young Citizen CC.

Only two Noble batters managed to put up notable resistance during the chase. Vaiishno Dev top-scored for his team with 36 runs, while M. Vaibhav contributed 35 runs. The remainder of the batting order folded cheaply under regular breakthroughs from the Young Citizen bowlers.

The bowling effort for Young Citizen CC was spearheaded by RVS Neeraj, who took four wickets while conceding 27 runs. Bowler R. Ram Charan provided tight support from the other end, capturing three wickets for just 10 runs to wrap up Noble's innings.

The 419-run opening partnership between Lalith and Rohan marked one of the standout batting achievements of the ongoing HCA C-Division one-day league tournament.
