KNRUHS Opens First Phase Web Options For BDS Admissions In Telangana

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) in Hyderabad has issued an official notification announcing the first phase of web-based counselling for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the 2026–27 academic year.

Eligible candidates whose names were included in the final merit list published on August 28, 2026, are eligible to exercise their web options. The submission window opens at 2 pm on Friday, September 4, and will conclude at 4 pm on September 6, 2026, through the counselling portal at https://tsbdsadm.tsche.in.

According to the university notification, the web-based counselling exercise applies to admissions across all government dental colleges, private dental colleges, and the Army College of Design Sciences located in Telangana. Candidates are permitted to enter preferences for any number of colleges according to their individual choices.

University officials stated that candidates must take part in this initial phase to remain eligible for further admissions. Those who fail to participate in this first round or neglect to join their allotted seat will be barred from taking part in subsequent counselling rounds, an enforcement intended to prevent the practice of seat blocking.

Students who secure a provisional seat allotment must pay a non-refundable university fee of Rs. 12,000. Selected candidates are required to download their allotment orders online and report to their designated dental colleges with their original certificates and fee receipts ahead of the specified deadline. Detailed seat matrices and additional guidelines have been released on the official KNRUHS website.
