Kamarla Yellaiah killed, three injured in Karimnagar road accident

One person was killed and three others suffered injuries on Monday after a speeding car crashed into a passenger autorickshaw from behind on Rajiv Rahadari. The accident occurred on the highway stretch between Ramakrishna colony and Indiranagar within the Thimmapur mandal of Karimnagar district.
The victim who died on the spot was identified as Kamarla Yellaiah, a resident of Parlapelli. Among the three injured persons, Thurpati Ramesh, hailing from Desaipalli in Veenavanka mandal, sustained serious injuries. Two other individuals also sustained injuries during the collision.
According to the authorities, the incident took place when the passenger autorickshaw was travelling towards Karimnagar. A speeding car traveling in the same direction rammed into the back of the autorickshaw, causing severe damage.
Upon learning about the road accident, the local police immediately rushed to the spot to manage the situation and assist the victims.
The police personnel shifted the three injured persons to the Karimnagar hospital for medical treatment. The body of Kamarla Yellaiah was also recovered from the scene and shifted to the hospital for a postmortem examination.
