IMD Predicts Scattered Rainfall in Telangana From July 28 to August 2

HYDERABAD — Telangana is likely to receive isolated to scattered rainfall from July 28 to August 2, according to a weather bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather prediction follows the development of a deep depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of the West Bengal and North Odisha coasts, which was observed at 8:30 am on July 27. The IMD reported that the system is very likely to move in a north-northwestward direction and cross the West Bengal and north Odisha coasts between Balasore.

According to the weather agency, isolated to scattered rainfall is also expected over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal during the period from July 27 to August 2.

Additionally, North Interior Karnataka is forecasted to see isolated to scattered rainfall from July 30 to August 2, while South Interior Karnataka is expected to experience similar conditions on July 27 and from July 28 to August 2.
