Hyderabad's Viyona Fintech Deploys UPI Switch at Bharat Cooperative Bank

Hyderabad-based Viyona Fintech has deployed its UPI Switch at Bharat Cooperative Bank, moving its payment technology into an active production environment. The deployment marks an operational milestone for the fintech company as it expands its footprint across India's banking and payments infrastructure sector.

The integration links Bharat Cooperative Bank's existing systems directly with the national UPI ecosystem through Viyona's switching technology. The deployed platform manages the core technology layer required to process UPI transactions reliably for the bank's customers.

Under this implementation, the switch handles essential operations including transaction routing, reconciliation, system monitoring, and operational controls. These functions ensure that digital payments are processed, tracked, and settled securely within regulatory and banking standards.

Company leadership highlighted the transition from product testing to active banking operations. "Getting a payment switch certified is one part of the journey. Seeing it go live with a bank and process transactions is a completely different milestone for us," said Ravindranath Yarlagadda, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Viyona Fintech.

Beyond UPI switching, Viyona maintains a broader portfolio of financial technology products. The company develops IMPS switching infrastructure, internet and mobile banking solutions, and Bharat Connect/BBPS systems, alongside platforms built for merchant payments, collections, payouts, and financial reconciliation.
