Hyderabad Draft Electoral Rolls Published With 27.95 Lakh Voters

The draft photo electoral rolls for 15 Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad district were published on Monday with a total of 27,95,225 voters as part of the Special Intensive Revision 2026, District Election Officer RV Karnan announced during an all-party meeting in the city.

The publication was carried out in Form-5 in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960. Out of the 27,95,225 electors registered across the district, 14,08,513 are female, 13,86,536 are male, and 176 belong to the third gender. The district comprises 4,094 polling stations spread across 1,710 polling station locations.

Electors can check their names in the draft electoral rolls at their respective Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) offices, on the Election Commission of India website (voters.eci.gov.in), on the Chief Electoral Officer's portal (ceotelangana.nic.in), or through the Voters Helpline App.

Claims for inclusion of names or objections regarding entries can be submitted on or before September 16 using Form-6, 7, or 8, along with the Declaration Form required for Form-6 and Form-8.

According to the SIR digitization data, 100 percent of the 47,36,669 total enumeration forms were distributed, of which 27,95,225 (59.01 percent) were digitized. A total of 19,41,444 electors were categorized under ASD or uncollectable forms, while anomalies were detected in 6,72,700 enumeration forms. Among the uncollectable cases, 13,45,333 electors had shifted, 2,99,850 were absent, 1,56,392 were deceased, 99,264 were duplicate entries, and 40,605 were categorized under other reasons.
