TGSRTC Developing MeeTicket Platform to Integrate Buses, Metro, Autos and Cabs

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation is developing a new digital platform called MeeTicket through MeeSeva to integrate multiple public transport services across Hyderabad under a single interface.

The application aims to make commuting more convenient by linking TGSRTC buses, Metro services, auto-rickshaws, and cabs. Commuters will be able to book bus or Metro tickets while simultaneously arranging an auto or cab for their onward travel through the platform.

The proposed system will also manage digital fare payments, automatically transferring funds directly to the respective transport service providers or partners. According to TGSRTC, auto and cab drivers along with other transport operators will be permitted to register as partners and offer their services directly to commuters.

Meanwhile, TGSRTC management addressed and clarified rumors regarding the corporation's fleet plans, stating there is no proposal, either currently or in the future, to purchase and operate its own autos. The corporation advised passengers and drivers not to believe social media claims suggesting it would launch a direct auto fleet.
