HMDA Generates Rs 101.51 Crore Through Plot E-Auctions in Mokila and Bachupally

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) generated Rs 101.51 crore in cumulative revenue by selling 57 residential plots through an e-auction in Mokila and Bachupally on Wednesday. The urban development agency had put up a total of 70 plots for bidding across the two layouts.

According to an official press release issued by the HMDA, the layout in Mokila accounted for the larger share of the total revenue. A total of 32 residential plots were sold in Mokila, yielding approximately Rs 66.48 crore.

Bidding in Mokila peaked at Rs 87,500 per square yard, which was the highest bid recorded across both locations during the auction. The average bid price for the plots sold in the Mokila layout settled at Rs 63,511 per square yard.

In the Bachupally layout, the authority successfully auctioned 25 residential plots. The sales in Bachupally generated approximately Rs 35.03 crore in revenue for the development body.

The highest bid recorded in Bachupally was Rs 67,500 per square yard. Across the 25 plots sold in the area, the average bid reached Rs 51,991 per square yard.

Combined, the sale of 32 plots in Mokila and 25 plots in Bachupally accounted for 57 of the 70 parcels offered during the e-auction, bringing the HMDA's total earnings from the exercise to Rs 101.51 crore, the release stated.
