Hanu Raghavapudi Designs Water Action Sequence for Prabhas Starrer Fauzi

Director Hanu Raghavapudi is developing high-voltage action blocks, including a major water-based sequence enhanced by computer graphics, for his upcoming film 'Fauzi' starring Prabhas. The venture marks the first creative collaboration between the filmmaker and the actor, with reports indicating the director is going all out to deliver a memorable cinematic outing.
Raghavapudi is widely recognised as a sensible filmmaker known for crafting beautiful love stories, but he is attempting something new and big with this project. While 'Fauzi' will retain romantic drama elements, the film will also surprise audiences by incorporating major action sequences planned to offer an elevated viewing experience in theatres.
A central focus of the current production work is an intricate water-based action sequence that integrates extensive CG work. The technical team is already working on these digital effects. Raghavapudi aims to ensure the core drama and stunt choreography align seamlessly with the CG visuals, leaving his distinct directorial mark on the set-piece rather than designing it like routine scenes seen in typical action films.
Alongside the action choreography, the filmmaker is also ensuring a soothing audio album crafted to match the stature of Prabhas. With fans waiting some time for the actor to register a full musical blockbuster, the production unit hopes the soundtrack will satisfy audience expectations. Actress Imanvi stars as the film's heroine.
The project is being produced on a massive scale by Mythri Movie Makers, with producer Naga Vamsi previously adding to the excitement with high-praise comments about the film. Public interest in the title has already proven substantial, as the movie's first-look poster set an all-time record by registering 533,000 Instagram shares.
The production unit previously faced security concerns in April 2026 when a leaked photograph from the sets went viral across social media platforms. The breach prompted Raghavapudi and the film unit to issue a strict warning against sharing unreleased material, urging fans not to spoil the theatrical experience and cautioning that accounts circulating the leaks could be penalised.
Team Fauzi is currently busy progressing with regular production schedules. As of now, the film is officially scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 3.
