Ghatkesar Police Constable Files Complaint Against Reporter for Verbal Abuse

A police constable has lodged a formal written complaint against a news reporter for allegedly obstructing police personnel from discharging their duties and verbally abusing an officer at the Ghatkesar police station in Hyderabad.
Constable Vidyasagar submitted the complaint directly to the station house officer at Ghatkesar, seeking action against the reporter for disrupting official proceedings and engaging in misconduct inside the station premises.
According to the complaint, the confrontation took place while police personnel were conducting an official confession-cum-seizure panchanama. The legal procedure involved an accused individual identified as B. Jaganmohan, who had previously been booked in a cheating case.
During the proceedings, the reporter, accompanied by several other individuals, entered the technical team room where the police team was working. The group attempted to meet and interact with the accused while the official documentation was underway.
Police personnel present at the spot intervened and requested the visitors to meet the accused one at a time to prevent any disruption to their ongoing investigation. In response to the request, the reporter allegedly raised his voice and directed objectionable language toward the constable.
Constable Vidyasagar noted in his complaint that the reporter had entered the interrogation area without any prior clearance. The reporter reportedly lacked authorization or instructions from Admin Sub-Inspector Shekar to access the room or meet with the accused individual.
The written complaint has been placed before the station authorities to initiate appropriate legal action regarding the disruption and misbehavior inside the police station.
