GameStorii Launches Sensor-Based Gaming Arena in Raidurg, Hyderabad

Founders Himanshu Lalwani and Ashik Mehata have opened GameStorii, India’s largest sensor-based gaming arena and Hyderabad’s first standalone gaming space, in Raidurg. Designed around active physical play, the high-energy entertainment facility features nine sensor-based games built to pull people out of their homes and encourage real-world social interaction.
Speaking on what distinguishes the venue from traditional trampoline parks or arcades, Lalwani highlighted that GameStorii enables multi-generational engagement. While parents frequently sit idle while watching their children at standard play zones, the Raidurg arena sees children actively playing alongside their parents and grandparents, serving visitors aged three to sixty years old.
The founders developed the concept as a response to isolation and routine lifestyles, where individuals often remain confined between home, school, and work, or engaged with mobile phones and streaming platforms. Operating under the tagline 'Play. Compete. Sweat. Repeat.', the venue emphasizes fitness and active movement. Most guests voluntarily store their phones in lockers upon entry to stay immersed in the arena environment.
Lalwani noted that public demand is shifting beyond traditional social options like clubbing or house parties toward energetic and challenging experiences, citing the recent surge in pickleball's popularity as a similar trend. Among the nine games available at the Raidurg space, Mission Impossible and Octopus have consistently stood out as customer favorites.
Beyond the gaming floor, the complex includes an on-site cafeteria that functions as a private lounge for intimate events. The facility has already been utilized for a range of gatherings, including birthday celebrations, corporate events, friend reunions, and kitty parties. Managing the daily operations requires the team to continuously troubleshoot technical issues and resolve software bugs to ensure seamless gameplay.
The founders chose Hyderabad as their launch market because it is their hometown and a fast-growing global IT, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology hub. Operating from the city serves as a baseline before planned expansions into Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, and other parts of India. Additionally, the venue plans to introduce an anonymous-player option, allowing solo visitors to book slots and pair with other guests looking to connect.
