Four killed including child after car hits divider in Sangareddy

Four people, including a four-year-old child, were killed and five others were injured in a road accident during the early hours of Tuesday at Bachupally in Kalher mandal of Sangareddy district. The crash occurred when the car carrying the passengers struck a road divider.

According to the Kalher police, the victims were travelling from Nanded to Hyderabad. The group was making the journey to Hyderabad to receive a relative who was arriving from abroad.

Following the collision, the five injured passengers were rescued and shifted to the Narayankhed Government Hospital, where they were admitted for treatment.

Personnel from the Kalher police department arrived at the scene of the accident to secure the area. The police have registered a case regarding the incident.

An investigation is currently underway by the local authorities to ascertain the exact cause of the accident and to determine how the vehicle hit the road divider.
