Five Tons, G. Aryan Reddy's 7/47 Light Up HCA Under-19 Selection Matches

Five centuries, including Shaik Rehaan Roshan's fourth consecutive hundred of the season, and a seven-wicket bowling spell by G. Aryan Reddy headlined the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) Men's Under-19 one-day selection matches in Hyderabad on Monday.

Shaik Rehaan Roshan starred for Team F with a 108-ball 107, packed with eight boundaries and five sixes, to power his side to 334 in 49.5 overs. Harsh Gandra supported him with 85, alongside contributions from Ved Reddy A (38) and Ujjwal Yadav (35), while Umadi Atharv and Bhukya Ganesh took three wickets each. In response, Team E was bowled out for 165 in 37.1 overs despite B. Mohit Sai's 56 and M. Navtej's 44, as SM Hussain Sayeed took 3/33 to seal a 169-run win for Team F.

In another fixture, G. Aryan Reddy produced a devastating spell of 7/47 for Team C, while Nakka Ritesh took 3/44, restricting Team A to 224 in 43.4 overs. Yoginath Uppari top-scored for Team A with 84, supported by N. Nitesh Naik's 33. Despite a fighting century from Team C's Ahaan Satwalekar, who struck 108 off 124 balls with 16 fours and a six, Team C was bowled out for 194 in 48.1 overs, handing Team A a 30-run victory as M. Charan Kumar Reddy picked up 3/29.

Team H registered a high-scoring 128-run victory over Team J after amassing 347 in 46.4 overs. D. Janmesh Singh led the charge with a blistering 126 off just 57 balls, smashing 12 boundaries and 10 sixes, while Rithvik Goud contributed 68. B. Hisanth P. Charan claimed 4/58 for Team J and followed it up with a century, scoring 100 off 94 balls with 15 fours and three sixes. However, Team J was dismissed for 219 in 39 overs.

Team B secured a five-wicket win against Team D, chasing down a target of 254 in 37.3 overs. M. Hansin Reddy led the chase with 105 off 84 deliveries, hitting 12 fours and two sixes, with Sai Devesh Javaji making 47 and M. Rajiv Reddy finishing unbeaten on 31. Earlier, Team D posted 253 in 44 overs through half-centuries from Aditya Vardhan (68) and Lokesh Myka (52), while Yashveer Goud bagged 4/33.

In the remaining matches, Team I posted 252 in 46.3 overs and bowled out Team G for 90 in 19.5 overs to record a 162-run victory. In a 20-over match, Team L defended 149/8 to edge out Team K by four runs, holding them to 145/6.
