Daaji Urges Focus on Emotional Security for Students at Kanha Shanti Vanam

Spiritual guide and Ram Chandra Mission president Kamlesh D Patel, popularly known as Daaji, addressed students, parents, and educators during an interactive session at Kanha Shanti Vanam on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Speaking alongside education leader Devyani Jaipuria, Daaji urged adults to build environments rooted in trust, presence, and emotional security to prepare children for life beyond examinations.

Addressing the gathering, Daaji emphasised that children learn far more from observing the daily actions of adults than from listening to advice. He noted that core values are cultivated through everyday experiences, calling on parents and teachers to model positive behavior in their routines.

The session featured Devyani Jaipuria, Pro Vice Chairperson of DPS International, Gurugram, and focused on expanding the scope of modern education. Both speakers highlighted emotional resilience, self-awareness, empathy, and purpose as essential life skills that must be nurtured alongside academic excellence.

The event hosted students in person at the Kanha Shanti Vanam facility, including groups from DPS International, Gurugram, DPS Sector 45, and Dharav High School. Hundreds of additional students participated virtually from their respective school campuses.

The dialogue also explored leadership in a rapidly changing world. Daaji and Jaipuria identified empathy, self-awareness, and a sense of purpose as defining qualities for effective leadership within educational institutions.

During the question-and-answer portion of the session, participating students raised concerns regarding examination stress, artificial intelligence, social media, digital addiction, comparison culture, and finding personal direction.

Responding to queries on digital habits, Daaji encouraged young people to develop self-awareness and practice responsible technology use. He described technology as a tool meant to support learning rather than a force that dictates personal identity.
