Cyberabad Police Raid 10 Unauthorised Clinics in Medchal and Sangareddy, Arrest 10

The Cyberabad police, in coordination with District Medical and Health authorities, raided 10 unauthorised clinics across Medchal and Sangareddy districts and apprehended 10 individuals operating as medical practitioners without valid credentials.

According to police officials, the accused were running full-fledged clinics and treating patients despite lacking the necessary qualifications or licences to practice medicine. The joint inspection teams discovered that several of the clinics were admitting patients on beds and conducting paediatric consultations for children.

The raids also revealed that the unqualified practitioners were administering intravenous fluids and saline to patients without having the requisite medical training and expertise, creating significant health risks.

DCP Qutbullapur N Koti Reddy stated that treatment by unqualified persons could lead to misdiagnosis, inappropriate medication, and severe medical complications, and in extreme cases, could result in the loss of life.

During the raids, officials seized a range of medical equipment and supplies from the premises. The seized items included nine stethoscopes, nine blood pressure monitoring machines, six thermometers, a pulse oximeter, a weighing machine, a blood sugar testing machine, and a prescription book. Investigating teams also confiscated expired medicines, syringes, saline bottles, and saline stands.

Police confirmed that criminal cases have been registered against the fake doctors, and further legal procedures are underway.
