CMC Launches ReCollect App to Streamline Construction Waste Collection in Hyderabad

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation has launched a civic initiative to organise and streamline the management of Construction and Demolition waste across Hyderabad through a dedicated mobile application named ReCollect.

The municipal body rolled out the digital platform to handle debris generated during building, renovation, and demolition activities. The system has been designed to make waste disposal more systematic and efficient, while directly curbing the illegal dumping of construction materials on city roadsides, vacant plots, and other unauthorised public grounds.

Under the new process, residents can download the ReCollect app directly from the Google Play Store on their mobile devices. Through the platform, users can schedule and book a collection service by entering their required details.

Once a pickup request is logged on the application, the civic corporation facilitates the collection of the accumulated debris directly from the user's specified location using an authorised collection system.

The corporation urged residents to take active responsibility for the proper disposal of building materials and participate in maintaining municipal cleanliness. The civic administration noted that keeping streets and surrounding neighbourhoods clean requires ongoing coordination and collective effort between local citizens and municipal authorities.
