CMC Demolishes 31 Unauthorised Structures Across Kukatpally and Other Zones

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation carried out 31 demolitions and served nine notices on Thursday as part of an ongoing enforcement drive against unauthorised constructions across its jurisdiction, including the Kukatpally zone.

According to civic authorities, the demolitions were distributed across three major operational areas. The civic body executed 12 demolitions in the Serilingampally zone and another 12 in the Quthbullapur zone, while seven unauthorised structures were demolished in the Kukatpally zone.

In addition to the demolitions and notices, CMC enforcement teams detected 21 more unauthorised constructions during their field-level inspections. These newly identified sites have been earmarked by the municipal body for further administrative action.

The civic body stated that its enforcement personnel are continuing inspections and identifying unauthorised constructions across all three zones. Officials noted that these measures are intended to enforce strict compliance with established building regulations.

Following the operations, the CMC Commissioner directed Town Planning and enforcement officials to sustain the ongoing drive. The Commissioner instructed the teams to proceed with enforcement actions against all identified building violations in accordance with prescribed procedures and applicable regulations.
