CM Revanth Reddy Pays Tribute to Kasu Brahmananda Reddy in Hyderabad

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid tributes to former Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh Kasu Brahmananda Reddy on his birth anniversary in Hyderabad.

Kasu Brahmananda Reddy served as Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh for nearly seven years, playing a prominent role in the state's development. During his tenure, he launched numerous irrigation projects, industries, and educational institutions across the region.

Several major public sector industries in Hyderabad were established during his leadership as Chief Minister, including Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT), and Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited (IDPL). He also led the state government during the 1969 Telangana agitation.

In addition to his service as Chief Minister, Kasu Brahmananda Reddy occupied prominent roles in national politics, serving as the Union Home Minister of India and later as the Governor of Maharashtra.
