Chakali Ilamma Women’s University Organises Deeksharambh for New Students

Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University organised the ‘Deeksharambh’ orientation programme for newly admitted students in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The initiative was conducted to familiarise the incoming batch with the institution's academic framework, course offerings, examination structure, student welfare initiatives, skill development programmes, and potential career pathways.

Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Prof Surya Dhananjay urged the students to use their imagination, ideas, and creativity to build a successful future. She advised them not to limit their university experience strictly to earning academic degrees, but to actively pursue skill acquisition, technological knowledge, and self-confidence. Prof Dhananjay further encouraged them to progress through consistent practice without being disheartened by failure, while taking full advantage of the ever-expanding flow of knowledge.

Registrar Prof G Mallesham called upon the students to develop modern skills, fulfil their parents’ aspirations, and view setbacks as stepping stones toward greater achievements. He urged the new entrants to aspire to become future leaders and make a lasting impact.

Speaking at the event, G Vijaya Lakshmi, OSD and Director of Hostels, advised the students not to lose heart over difficulties and urged them to remain focused on their goals. She highlighted the supportive and friendly atmosphere available across the university campus and encouraged students to make full use of these resources.

Principal and IQAC Director Lokapavani underscored the importance of discipline, perseverance, and punctuality in attaining academic excellence. She also reminded the students of the critical need to prioritise their mental and physical well-being throughout their academic journey.
