Burglars Steal Gold and Diamond Jewellery from House in Jubilee Hills

Burglars broke into a businessman’s unoccupied house on Road No 10 in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, making away with more than 10 tolas of gold ornaments and a diamond ring.

According to the police, the incident came to light after Neelu Kaur, a Rajasthan-based businessman, lodged a formal complaint. The complainant stated that the intruders gained access to the house from the rear side after removing the window grills. The residence was completely unoccupied at the time of the break-in.

The stolen valuables included an emerald ring, a diamond ring, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and various other jewellery items.

Investigators revealed that before targeting Kaur’s house, the burglar had allegedly attempted to break into two other houses in the same locality. However, those attempts failed when the residents inside woke up after hearing unusual noises, forcing the intruder to flee.

Police officials suspect that the burglars may have surveyed the area and struck Kaur’s residence after noticing that no one was inside the premises.

Following the complaint, the Jubilee Hills Police registered a case and took up the investigation. Forensic teams have collected fingerprints from the crime scene, and police personnel are examining CCTV camera footage from nearby residences and surrounding roads to identify and apprehend the suspects. Further investigation is underway.
