BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy Seeks Six Weeks to Answer Ethics Committee Notice

BRS MLA from Huzurabad Padi Kaushik Reddy has sought a six-week extension to submit his explanation to the State Assembly Ethics Committee in Hyderabad regarding complaints lodged against his conduct in the House.
The Ethics Committee had previously served notices to the legislator directing him to submit his response by Saturday. However, Kaushik Reddy formally wrote back to the panel noting that he had only received the official notice on August 31.
In his communication, the MLA pointed to the upcoming Assembly session, which is scheduled to commence on Monday. He requested six weeks of time, or until the conclusion of the legislative session, to formally respond to the allegations.
Kaushik Reddy explained that the committee had supplied him with voluminous material that required careful study. He assured the panel that he would submit a comprehensive explanation once he has examined all the documentation in detail.
Additionally, the BRS legislator pointed out that the video clip furnished to him regarding an incident on March 29 was incomplete. He requested the committee to provide the complete video recording of the Assembly proceedings from that entire day.
Reiterating his position, the MLA stated that he would submit a detailed response only after reviewing the full video footage and requested the committee to grant the required extension accordingly.
