Auto Driver Abdul Rauf Murdered in Mailardevpally's Ali Nagar

An auto driver was murdered by unidentified assailants in Ali Nagar under the Mailardevpally police station limits on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Abdul Rauf, a resident of Jahangirabad.

Police suspect that two to three persons were involved in the attack. The incident marks the second murder reported within the Mailardevpally police limits in a 24-hour span, following the killing of a rowdy-sheeter who was hacked to death by unidentified persons earlier on Wednesday.

Rajendra Nagar Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) S Sreenivas stated that police personnel rushed to the scene immediately after receiving information regarding the attack and spoke with local residents to gather details.

A dedicated team has been formed to trace the assailants. Investigators are currently examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area to identify the suspects involved in the fatal assault.

The Mailardevpally police have registered a case of murder and launched an investigation into the matter.
