ACB Raids Residence of TTD Deputy EO Lokanatham in Disproportionate Assets Case

The sleuths of the Andhra Pradesh Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted raids at the residence of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Deputy Executive Officer Lokanatham in Tirupati in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
A total of seven teams, led by ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police Srinivas Rao, carried out search operations across multiple locations, including the residences of Lokanatham, his relatives, and his friends. Lokanatham's guest house located in Tirumala was also raided during the operation.
Investigators also inspected financial holdings linked to the official. ACB sleuths examined his bank lockers at a nationalized bank situated in STV Nagar in Tirupati.
The search operation comes after a 15-year gap in similar ACB actions against TTD officials. The last such raid took place in 2011, when the agency searched the residence of then TTD Deputy Executive Officer Bhupathi Reddy.
