24,985 Candidates to Take TGTET Across 13 Telangana Districts on September 8 and 9

HYDERABAD — A total of 24,985 candidates will appear for the TGTET-In-service Teachers-2026 computer-based examination scheduled to be held on September 8 and September 9 across 41 examination venues in 13 districts across Telangana.

The examination process has been organised by the Telangana School Education Department. Hall tickets for registered candidates were released and made available for download through the department's official website starting on September 2.

The test schedule will be split across two days. On September 8, candidates will sit for the examination in two separate sessions. The first session will take place in the morning from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, followed by a second session in the afternoon from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. On September 9, the examination will conclude with a single afternoon session.

Among the districts hosting the computer-based test, Rangareddy accounts for the highest share of test-takers, with 8,150 candidates scheduled to appear across seven designated examination venues.

Medchal-Malkajgiri follows with the second-highest enrollment, where 5,514 candidates are registered to write the exam at eight examination venues.

In Hyderabad district, a total of 940 candidates will appear for the examination at one designated venue.
