10 Injured as RTC Bus Rams into Parked DCM at Abdullapurmet

At least 10 passengers were injured when an RTC bus rammed into a parked DCM at Inamguda in Abdullapurmet on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Thursday. The state transport bus was heading towards Hyderabad from Vijayawada when the crash occurred.

According to available details, the stationary DCM was carrying a consignment of iron when the RTC bus collided with it. There were 48 passengers travelling on board the bus at the time of the collision, of whom 10 sustained injuries.

Soon after the impact, local residents rushed to the spot to assist the commuters trapped inside the vehicle. The locals helped rescue the passengers and shifted all 10 injured persons to a nearby private hospital for medical treatment.

The Abdullapurmet police were alerted to the accident and arrived at the location to inspect the scene. Police officials have taken up the matter and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
