Yashwanth and Manogna Win 100m Titles at Hyderabad Junior Athletics Meet

Yashwanth and Manogna claimed the Under-20 boys' and girls' 100m titles respectively at the Hyderabad District Junior Athletics Championship in Hyderabad.

In the Under-20 boys' sprint events, Yashwanth secured first place in the 100m with a timing of 11.30 seconds, finishing ahead of Harshavardhan (11.60 sec) and M. Karthikeya (11.70 sec). Yashwanth also took the 200m title with a time of 22.8 seconds, followed by M. Venkatesh (24.3 sec) and Karthikeya (24.5 sec). In the Under-20 girls' category, Manogna won the 100m event in 15.65 seconds, beating Sharanya (16.4 sec).

The district championship featured competitions across Under-14, Under-16, Under-18, and Under-20 categories across multiple track and field disciplines.

In the Under-18 competitions, Aayan won the boys' 100m race in 11.70 seconds, while Hrushikesh Reddy took the 200m event in 24.00 seconds. In the girls' Under-18 category, Shreshta won the 100m sprint in 13.40 seconds, and Akshaya secured first place in the 200m in 28.10 seconds.

In the Under-16 events, P. Aryan Babu won the boys' 60m dash with a timing of 7.23 seconds, and Ryka finished first in the girls' 60m with a time of 8.2 seconds.
