Yash's Toxic Crosses Rs 190 Crore Worldwide in Two Days

Actor Yash's latest action drama Toxic has collected over Rs 190 crore worldwide across its first two days in theatres, following an opening day gross of close to Rs 140 crore globally.

Despite the triple-digit opening, the film has faced negative reviews upon release, creating uncertainty across trade circles regarding its theatrical trajectory and overall breakeven prospects.

The Hindi-dubbed version has surprisingly emerged as the primary contributor to the film's box office run, collecting significantly more revenue than the original Kannada version on opening day and maintaining stronger momentum into the second day. The reception in North Indian markets has been propelled by Yash's popularity following the nationwide success of KGF 2.

Trade analysts consider the remaining days of the opening weekend crucial for Toxic to sustain its commercial run. The film will need to secure a substantial portion of its target recovery by Sunday to keep distributor losses minimal.

Ahead of the theatrical rollout, producer and distributor Dil Raju, who is handling the film's Telugu release, highlighted the film's prospects during a pre-release event in Hyderabad, anticipating strong opening momentum across regional circuits.
