Yash Starrer Toxic Earns Over Rs 100 Crore as Advance Bookings Surge

Actor Yash's gangster drama 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' arrived in cinemas worldwide on August 26, earning over Rs 100 crore amid strong advance bookings across domestic and international markets.
Speaking at a pre-release promotional event held at Malla Reddy University in Hyderabad, Yash described the film as bold, original, and deeply psychological, noting that art should push audiences into uncomfortable questions regarding human relationships.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, 'Toxic' recorded a Day 1 advance booking gross of Rs 43.64 crore in India, including blocked seats, as of the afternoon of August 25. The Telugu market contributed Rs 15 crore in pre-release ticket sales, while overall advance sales across all territories crossed the Rs 70 crore mark.
Internationally, the film secured over 400 screens in the United Kingdom. Box office tracking by Venky Box Office recorded pre-sales of $292,541 across 362 locations and 873 shows in the UK market.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the project was reportedly produced on a budget of approximately Rs 500 crore. Alongside Yash, the ensemble cast features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Sudev Nair.
