Yash Satwalekar, Vignesh Reddy Hit Centuries for Sporting XI in Hyderabad

Centuries from Yash Satwalekar and A. Vignesh Reddy guided Sporting XI to a formidable total of 424 for five in 86 overs against Deccan Wanderers on the opening day of the A-Division two-day league cricket championship in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Satwalekar anchored the innings with a 178-ball 138, striking 12 boundaries and four sixes. Vignesh Reddy provided aggressive support from the other end, scoring 140 runs off just 133 deliveries, an innings featuring 15 fours and seven sixes.

Sporting XI further consolidated their position through middle-order contributions. Shaik Sohail remained unbeaten on 49, while Tanay Thyagarajann contributed 41 runs before the close of play on day one.
