Women's Empowerment Key to Viksit Bharat, Says Ramchander Rao at Mallapur Event

BJP Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao on Saturday stated that the goal of Viksit Bharat can be achieved only through the empowerment of women, speaking at the Angan Milan service programme held at Mallapur in Hyderabad. The event was organised under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan by BJP Mahila Morcha state president Dr. Mekala Shilpa Reddy.
Addressing the gathering, Ramchander Rao said that society will progress only when women excel in all fields on par with men. He noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had accorded top priority to women's welfare and the protection of their rights throughout his 25 years in public life.
Highlighting various Central government welfare initiatives, Ramchander Rao stated that schemes such as Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao have brought significant changes to society. He added that the Union government is actively implementing programmes to ensure proper nutrition for pregnant women, lactating mothers, and young children.
The state BJP chief observed that a strong nation can be built only when mothers and children are healthy. During his address, he also wished Prime Minister Modi good health and a long life, stating that he should continue to lead the country toward the goal of Viksit Bharat.
The programme at Mallapur was attended by Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajendar, BJP district president Girivardhan Reddy, and BJP state spokesperson Taduri Srinivas, alongside several Mahila Morcha leaders and party workers.
